Hey everyone,
I just moved into a new place and started noticing these tiny worm-like bugs showing up near the baseboards and sometimes on the floor. They’re small, slow-moving, and kind of unsettling to look at.
I’m not sure what they are — maybe larvae of something? The house looked clean when I moved in, so I wasn’t expecting this at all.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? What are these likely to be, and what actually works to get rid of them for good?
Sounds like it could be some kind of beetle larvae.
I had something similar and it turned out to be carpet beetle larvae.
Check closets, carpets, and under furniture. That’s where they usually hide.
@DeepCleanNora Same here. I didn’t see the adults at first, just the larvae.
They often show up in places with dust, hair, or natural fibers.
Vacuuming regularly made a big difference for me.
Make sure to clean along baseboards and corners thoroughly.
@PestTrackOliver Agreed. Most of the time it’s larvae from something already inside.
If you keep seeing them, there’s probably a source nearby.
Once I found the source and removed it, they disappeared pretty quickly.
