Tiny roach sightings every few days… is this the start of an infestation?

Hi all,

Hoping to get some honest opinions here. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed tiny roaches showing up every few days — never more than one at a time. They usually appear late at night, mostly around the kitchen sink or bathroom floor.

I haven’t seen any larger ones yet, which makes me unsure how serious this is. I keep things fairly clean, so I’m trying to figure out whether this is just the occasional stray or an early sign of a bigger issue. Curious how others would interpret this.

Seeing them consistently, even in small numbers, is usually not random.

Tiny ones tend to mean there’s breeding happening somewhere nearby.

I had the same pattern before it slowly turned into weekly sightings.

Check behind appliances and under sinks. That’s where mine started.

@LateNightWalker That’s what I was afraid of, especially since I never see adults.

It’s still early enough to deal with, but I wouldn’t ignore it.

Once they show up on a schedule, they usually don’t just disappear on their own.

@RentLifeStories same experience here. It stayed “minor” until it suddenly wasn’t.

Clean homes can still have issues, it’s more about access points than hygiene.

Catching this phase early is way easier than fixing it later.
