Keeping Termites at Bay Without Harmful Chemicals

Hello everyone!
When I found termite mud tubes creeping up my foundation, I vowed to avoid neurotoxins. First, I tried orange oil injections —termites treated it like a spa day. Next, borax-soaked cotton balls became their fluffy bedding. A “green” exterminator sold me beneficial nematodes … which drowned in the first rain. Now my porch beams look like Swiss cheese, and I’ve spent $8K on repairs. Is it possible to stop termites naturally, or are we just feeding them organic snacks?

Diatomaceous earth around the foundation. Termites built tunnels OVER it. Now my yard’s a sand art project.

Cardboard traps soaked in molasses! Lure ‘em, then burn the box. Works… if you’re into pyromania.

Neem oil spray on wood beams. Termites hated it… but so did my kid’s asthma.

@CaveDweller666 Switch to clove oil! …Then invest in gas masks.

Chickens peck termite swarms! But they ate my garden hose AND the porch stairs.

Vinegar + lemon juice in mud tubes. Termites shrugged. Now my floors reek of pickles

Cedarwood posts for fence repairs. Termites ate the pine… but left the cedar! Tiny wins?

Aloe vera gel in cracks, said to repel termites. Joke’s on me; they used it as moisturizer.

@purrfect_home Termites out here glowing up while eating your equity.

Termites thrived in my ‘sustainable bamboo ’ floors. Turns out bamboo’s their favorite snack.
