How Much Do You Pay for Monthly/Quarterly Pest Control?

Hey folks,

I’m trying to get a sense of what’s normal when it comes to monthly or quarterly pest control costs. I’ve been quoted a pretty wide range — everything from “$35 a month” to “$150 per visit depending on the service.”

I just want something basic: keeping ants, spiders, and other little crawlers under control. No major infestations, just routine maintenance.

Before I commit, I’d love to hear what you all are paying, what schedule you’re on, and whether you think it’s actually worth it in the long run.

I’m paying around $45 a month. It covers routine sprays and a quick check of hotspots. Nothing fancy but it keeps things steady.

Mine is quarterly and costs $95 per visit. Honestly, I prefer quarterly, fewer people coming by and it still works fine.

If you have a bigger property, prices go up fast. I’m at $120 every three months because the tech has to cover the whole perimeter.

I used to pay monthly, but switched to quarterly since I barely noticed a difference. Saved me some cash.

@BudgetBattler It matters a lot where you live. My area has crazy ant problems in summer so companies charge more during peak season.

I’m paying $60 a month. Probably overpriced, but it’s the only company that actually shows up reliably.

If you’re in an apartment or duplex, check with the landlord. Sometimes you’re already paying for it without realizing.

@RentingInRain Same here! Quarterly works great for me. I’d rather have fewer appointments unless something big happens.

Mine is $85 per visit and includes outdoor + indoor checks. It feels fair, and they’re in and out in like 15 minutes.

I’d get a few quotes before choosing. Prices vary a LOT depending on whether they bundle inspections or charge every little thing separately.
