Hey everyone!
After finding mouse droppings in my pantry, I declared war. I’ve tried everything:
- Classic Traps: Peanut butter bait stolen without triggering the snap. (Mice are ninjas.)
- Ultrasonic Repellers: Mice partied LOUDER near the device.
- Mint Spray: Now my kitchen smells like a toothpaste factory, but the mice just… mint-breathed.
They’ve even chewed through my Wi-Fi router cables. Is this a mouse uprising?
Use sunflower seeds in traps! Cats ignore them, and mice go nuts. @DIYorDie, ever try this?
Steel wool + caulk for holes, mice hate chewing metal! Peppermint oil? They mocked it. @CatLadySupreme, seeds worked until squirrels raided my traps.
Ultrasound + cinnamon sticks = my ‘natural’ combo. Mice left… but so did my roommate (hates cinnamon). @DIYorDie, steel wool rusts, use copper mesh!
Bought child-proof trap boxes, mice chewed through the plastic. Now using bucket traps on the roof.
Forget DIY—snap traps with bacon grease are the OG solution. @CatLadySupreme, squirrels are your real enemy.
Live traps + drive mice 5 miles away.
@ExterminatorX: Bacon grease? Now my dog’s obsessed with the traps. @EcoFreak, copper mesh = mouse kryptonite.
@DIYorDie my cat now guards the copper-lined holes. Teamwork!
your cat deserves a raise.
