Hey everyone!
I’m trying to choose the cleanest rat trap option for indoor use. I really don’t want something messy or stressful to deal with.
For those who’ve handled rats inside living spaces, what trap style felt the most hygienic and manageable?

Covered traps are much easier to deal with indoors.
Open snap traps can work, but they’re not pleasant in visible areas.
@MonitorMavenMia Especially if you have kids or pets around.
I prefer anything enclosed. Less visual stress.
Automatic traps reduce how often you have to interact with them.
That’s true. Less handling = less mess.
I’ve been using the Thanos MK47 for a few weeks. I mostly chose it because I didn’t want to keep resetting traps manually. So far it’s been pretty low effort.
@BudgetBlake Good to know. Does it feel suitable for indoor spaces?
Yeah, that was my main reason for picking it.
In living areas, anything enclosed and low-contact just feels more appropriate.
