I wanted to start a discussion about bug bombs — you know, those total release foggers that claim to wipe out all insects in one go. I recently came across multiple cases where people said they actually made things worse, not better.
For anyone who’s used one, did it actually solve your infestation or just scatter the bugs? I’m curious about what really happens after you set one off. Also — are there safer or more effective methods that don’t involve coating everything in chemicals?
I tried using a fogger once for roaches. Big mistake. They disappeared for about a week, then came back twice as many. Turns out they just ran into the walls and laid more eggs.
Same here. The fogger made me feel like I did something, but it didn’t reach the hidden spots where bugs actually live. Definitely won’t use one again.
@HealthAwareHome right! And foggers don’t even reach behind baseboards or inside cabinets, that’s where pests hide. They just push them deeper into the house.
Foggers might have their place for certain insects, but for most home infestations, they just mask the problem. If you don’t find the source, it’s pointless.
