Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be dealing with ants in the bathroom of all places, but here we are. I keep seeing them around the sink, near the edges of the floor, and sometimes even inside the shower area.
There’s no food in there, so I’m confused about what’s attracting them. I’ve cleaned everything multiple times, but they still keep showing up like they own the place.
Has anyone else had ants in their bathroom? What actually gets rid of them when there’s no obvious food source?
Bathroom ants are usually after moisture, not food.
Yeah I had them around my sink pipes. Tiny leaks were the cause.
Check under the sink or behind fixtures. They love damp areas.
@GarageFox82 same here. Once I fixed a small leak, they disappeared.
Even condensation around pipes can attract them.
Try drying the area as much as possible after use.
Also check for cracks around baseboards or tile gaps.
@NatureNerd33 I found mine coming from behind the wall near plumbing.
Bait still works in bathrooms, just place it near their trail.
Once the moisture source is gone, they usually stop coming back.
