What’s One Product You Swear By for Ants/Beetles/Roaches?

For general pests, food-grade diatomaceous earth is my fallback. It’s low tech, but in dry areas it kills by dehydration, which works well long term.

Neem oil helped me with beetles on my plants. It’s not instant like a spray, but I value the gentler impact on beneficial insects.

One regret: underestimating the power of placement. The same product fails when positioned poorly. Focus on hidden runways and crevices first.

I mix small amounts of gel bait with peanut butter or jelly to increase attractiveness. Just a dab, the pests seem to like the blend better than plain bait.

@HandyDan You mentioned diatomaceous earth earlier, do you reapply after rain or cleaning? I’m curious about how durable that method is.

Rotation strategy helps: switching between products (gel, dust, spray) prevents pests from developing resistance. I’ve had better long-term control doing that.
