What colors attract yellow jackets?

Bright colors = food signals. I learned that yellow jackets aren’t color-specific, they follow any visual clue for potential nectar or scraps.

Surprisingly, I found that dark navy or forest green shirts drew fewer bugs than white or light grey. Maybe because they don’t stand out?

Wear muted earth tones, avoid floral prints, keep your drinks covered, and use natural repellents nearby. Works every time.
