I’ve read that a combo approach—liquid for initial barrier + bait stations for ongoing colony suppression, can give the best of both worlds. Faster kill + ongoing protection.
Your home structure matters a lot. If you have thick concrete slabs or stone, liquid barriers can be harder to apply properly. Then bait stations may be the better choice.
Also consider safety, liquid barriers use more pesticide in soil; bait systems use smaller amounts targeted to termites, which could reduce exposure risks in sensitive areas.
