Quick question for anyone who’s dealt with roaches before. I used boric acid around problem areas about a week ago, and while I expected it to take time, I’m still seeing large roaches wandering around at night.
I’m trying to figure out whether this is normal, if it just takes longer, or if I misunderstood how this approach is supposed to work. Curious to hear what others experienced.
A week honestly isn’t that long, especially if you’re seeing adults.
Seeing big ones doesn’t always mean it failed. Sometimes they show up before disappearing.
I went through the same thing and thought it wasn’t working at all.
From what I’ve seen, results aren’t instant and depend a lot on where they’re coming from.

@RoachTheory That’s reassuring, because right now it definitely feels worse.
Big roaches are stubborn. They don’t always react the same way as smaller ones.
If they’re traveling in from other units or wall voids, you might still see activity.
I stopped judging progress by sightings alone and watched whether numbers dropped over time.
Patience was the hardest part for me — things changed slowly, not overnight.
