Out of nowhere, I’ve started seeing these large black flies inside my house. At first it was just one or two, but now I’m noticing them every day, mostly around the windows and sometimes near the kitchen.
The weird part is I didn’t have this problem before. It feels like they suddenly showed up all at once, which makes me think there might be a source somewhere inside.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? What usually causes a sudden increase like this, and how do you actually get rid of them?

Check trash bins, drains, or anything organic that might be hidden.
I had this happen once and it turned out something had gotten stuck behind an appliance.
@HomeShieldMax exactly. They don’t just appear without a reason.
Also check attic or wall spaces. Sometimes it’s something you can’t see directly.
Windows attract them, but that’s not usually where they’re coming from.
I found mine near a forgotten food container under a cabinet.
@DeepCleanNora same here. Once I removed the source, they disappeared fast.
If it’s multiple flies daily, there’s definitely something inside attracting them.
Focus on finding the source first, otherwise they’ll keep coming back.
