I’m curious, does anyone use trap-and-release for rodents under IPM? Or is that too labor-intensive compared to exclusion + baiting?
Reading up on threshold levels from extension services helps me decide whether I need intervention or just observation. Makes the IPM approach feel more science than guesswork.
Chemicals as a last resort is the mantra. I’ve used insecticidal soap and targeted bait pellets instead of broad sprays; less harm to beneficial bugs and safer for kids and pets.
