How to Use Diatomaceous Earth Without Making a Mess

@EcoWarrior2025 I’ve mixed with tea tree oil! The oil helps the powder stick better to surfaces too. Just don’t overdo the oil or it clumps.

I created a DIY applicator from an empty spice container with holes poked in the lid. Perfect for spot treating garden plants without waste.

For large areas, I use a hand-held bulb duster. Gives great coverage while keeping the DE contained.

Always use food-grade DE for home/garden use. The pool-grade stuff can be dangerous if inhaled!

Timing matters too! I apply DE right before predicted dry weather. Rain washes it away, making all your careful application pointless.
