Impatient baiting makes things worse. It takes time, often several weeks, to fully knock down a Pharaoh ant colony. Keep replacing bait and monitoring.
Also, use non-repellent insecticides only around the perimeter after baiting. But don’t rely on them alone, too many people skip bait and only spray, which always ends in bouncing ant populations.
