I rotate with spinosad treatments, works well on miners and is safe for beneficials like bees when used right.
@EcoGrowGal Lacewings are totally worth it. I also try to introduce ladybugs to keep balance, works pretty well in small beds.
I add a few garlic-soap sprays every fortnight. They don’t kill miners directly, but they deter the adults from laying in the first place.
Thanks for the thread, just mixed some azadirachtin into my foliar spray and don’t see any fresh mining on the basil. Fingers crossed it holds!
For me, combining neem oil, sticky traps, and removing infested leaves has finally broken the cycle. Took a bit of work, but I’m seeing solid improvement.
