Do Ultrasonic Pest Repellers Work on Bats?

There have been studies showing limited effectiveness.

I prefer natural methods anyhow.

Like what, for instance?

I’ve tried peppermint oil; it worked for a while.

Actually, they’ve had some success in my attic.

How long did it take to notice a difference?

It takes about two weeks.

Did you use them in combination with other methods?

Some bats may adapt to the ultrasonic frequency.

Anyone tried professional exterminators instead?

I’ve experimented with ultrasonic pest repellers around my property, and I haven’t noticed any significant change in bat activity. They seem to navigate as usual.

In my experience, bats aren’t deterred by these devices. They use echolocation and might not even register the frequencies these repellers emit.

I tried using an ultrasonic repeller near my bat roost, but the bats continued their nightly routines without any obvious disturbance.

Used a 50 kHz device, bats stopped roosting on my porch. Could be the higher pitch hit their sweet spot!

I’ve had one running at 30 kHz, bats ignored it completely. Might need to pair it with sealing entry points.

Tried an ultrasonic repeller in my garage, bats left initially, then returned. Wonder if they get desensitized?

My 25 kHz unit chased bats from my eaves, worked great, but I’m keeping an eye out for a comeback!

Installed a random-frequency repeller, bats bolted from my shed. The shifting sound might confuse them more!

Bats in my attic laughed at my 45 kHz repeller, didn’t budge. Maybe it’s not loud enough for their range?

I’ve had success with a 60 kHz model, bats vacated my roofline quick. Higher frequencies could be the trick!
