I use a mix: humane traps in living areas, snap traps in hidden zones. That way I minimize risk in safe areas but still control the problem.
@EthicalEli I hear you. I think education is key, knowing trap types, placement, timing, all matter more than just the trap itself.
At the end of the day, no trap is perfect. What matters is intention, using traps responsibly, checking frequently, and minimizing suffering as best we can.
