@MousePatrol makes a great point about desperation behavior! In studies, fleas trapped during daytime often show higher parasite loads - they’re hungrier and more active.

Alternative approach: Use traps alongside herbal flea repellent sprays. The repellents drive fleas toward traps while being safe for pets - works synergistically day and night.

Consistency matters most! My data shows traps catch 2-3x more fleas when left in the same spot for weeks versus being moved daily. They establish a reliable ‘bait station’ effect.
