Place zappers at least 20 feet from seating areas. Wasps may investigate but won’t linger if there’s no food reward. Combined with sealed trash cans, this reduced my wasp issues by 80%.
Wasps see different light spectrums than moths. While most zappers use 365-400nm UV, wasps are more responsive to 500-600nm (green-yellow) light. Explains their lack of interest!
