Hey everyone!
I’ve seen more people talking about using bug bombs inside their cars, but I’ve also heard it can go wrong pretty easily.
For those who’ve tried it, what are the most common mistakes people make? Is it not sealing the car properly, not ventilating long enough afterward, or using the wrong type of fogger?
I’d really like to avoid creating a bigger problem while trying to solve one.
One big mistake is underestimating ventilation time afterward. People rush back into the car too quickly.
Using too large a fogger for such a small space can also be a problem.
@MechanicMike That’s what I was wondering. Are car-specific products better than regular room foggers?
Another mistake is not cleaning beforehand. If food crumbs are still there, pests may just come back.
I’ve seen people forget to turn off air circulation systems. That can spread chemicals unevenly.
@DriveCleanDaily Make sure electronics and sensitive materials are protected. Residue can build up.
Not reading the label carefully is probably the biggest mistake overall.
People expect instant, permanent results. Foggers don’t always reach deep hiding spots.
Skipping the wipe-down afterward is another common oversight.
Honestly, sometimes the mistake is using a bug bomb at all without confirming what pest you’re dealing with.
