Eliminate ALL water sources! Roaches die in 1 week without water. Fix leaks, dry sinks nightly, and use dehumidifiers.
In my experience helping friends with roach problems, gel baits tend to work better than sprays for long-term control. Sprays can kill the ones you see, but bait allows roaches to carry the poison back to the nest.
Another thing that made a big difference was placing baits along walls and behind appliances instead of in open areas. Roaches usually follow edges when they move around.
